SECOND CHANCE TO LOVE RIGHT.

Eric Kitao , 31,first met perpetual Anita Teresa, 26,in 1999 while delivering supplies to Nyabisawa Girls Secondary School where she was a student.They dated for a while but separated when Eric got posted to Mombasa and Anita remained in Migori pursuing her studies.

 Six years later,in 2005,Eric spotted Anita in a supermarket and fell in love with her all over again. They dated for three years and got married on May 10 2008.'' I thought I would never see her again. We had been out of touch for many years when just like an angel, she appeared and made me happiest man alive.I  popped the question after dating for a while and she said yes.''

 Anita says,'' I did not know his whereabouts for the years we were apart, although I constantly thought about him . When I saw him in the supermarket after such a long separation, I  knew God intended for us to be together.I had no doubt about marrying him,so I spontaneously accepted his marriage proposal.''

Eric paid dowry soon after and preparations kicked off towards the wedding day, four months away.''We wanted our day to be perfect,so we started the challenging preparations early. We avoided last minute rush, which eased tension,''Anita reveals the secret of their successful wedding day.''It was the happiest day of our life,''they both concur.

All 'lovey dovey',Anita praises and treasures her husband's kindness,humbleness and ability to apologise quickly .Eric on the other hand says his wife has helped him become more grounded.''When I met her,I was not born again, but with her encouragement  I gave my life to God and since then, her love kept me strong.I give all glory to God.''

STUDY SHOWS SGR FREIGHT SERVICE KILLING MOMBASA ECONOMY.

Despite that the Standard Gauge Railway [SGR] is a worthwhile project expected to bring in numerous socio- economic benefits and grow the country's GDP by 1.5%, it is a two faced sword with viable demerits.Recently, a study by the University of Nairobi ( UoN) revealed that more than 60 percent of the employees working at the  Container Freight Stations ( CFSs) were sacked over the same period. The study further revealed that the coastal county is at ''economic decay point with CFSs,Long-distance trucks and transport related businesses such as fueling and service stations are mostly affected.
